THE BIG BUILD
워싱턴 디씨에 위치한 National Building Museum에서는 10월 13일 토요일 10시에서 4시까지 The Big Build라는 주제로 이벤트를 개최한다. 이곳에서는 실제로 건축가와 디자이너, 빌더와 많은 건축 관련된 업종에 종사하는 사람들을 만나 실제 건물을 짓는데 어떠한 과정이 필요한지 배우고 직접 체험을 해보는 시간을 갖는다. 나이는 5세에서 12세까지가 적당하다.
올해의 테마는 다음과 같다.

DISCOVER the inner workings of elevators
ILLUMINATE lights and learn about electricity
EXPLORE home remodeling
TRY augmented reality
MEET author Joshua David Stein and listen to a reading of the book Brick Who Found Herself in Architecture.
VISIT Museum exhibitions like PLAY WORK BUILD
